Pokémon card deal finder

The engine watches. You act.

Dexcatch calculates Dex Fair for every card — what it actually sells for, built from real completed sales — pulls live eBay listing data, and tells you exactly what each offer is worth. Before you click buy.

The Dex Fair engine

Not an asking price. A selling price.

TCGPlayer shows what sellers are asking. eBay shows what sold. Neither alone tells you what a card is worth today. Dex Fair weighs real completed sales of the exact card and its closest comparables, adjusts everything to Near Mint, and cross-checks the result against the wider market — one defensible number per card.

Real sales, not hopes

Dex Fair starts from completed sales — what collectors actually paid, not what sellers hope to get. Graded slabs, non-English prints, and one-off outliers are thrown out before they can bend the number, so the read reflects the market a raw Near Mint copy really trades in.

It shows its work

Every Dex Fair opens into a receipt: the recent sales behind it, the range where most of them landed, and what was excluded and why. When only a couple of sales back the number, it says so plainly — a rough read is labeled a rough read. No fake precision.

Clean data in. Clean verdicts out.

Dexcatch pulls fresh listing data from the eBay API on every daily update. Before any listing reaches the engine, it passes through Dexcatch's data quality layer. Graded copies, non-English cards, auction-format listings, and statistical price outliers are automatically excluded. What remains is a clean pool of relevant, comparable, buyable listings. The engine only scores what it trusts.

100%Evidence-backed verdicts
Verdict system

Every listing gets one of three outcomes.

Dexcatch compares the list price against Dex Fair for that specific card and assigns a single verdict. No ambiguity. No interpretation required. You know exactly what the offer is the moment it surfaces.

Steal
3%+ below Dex Fair

Priced under what real completed sales support. The deeper the gap, the bigger the number on the row — and the faster it sells. This is the moment Watches exist for.

Market
−3% to +5% of Dex Fair

Trading at what the data supports. No urgency either direction — but now you have a baseline to negotiate from instead of guessing.

Overpriced
More than 5% above Dex Fair

The seller is anchoring above what real sales support. You know the gap. Make a lower offer or move on — the data is on your side.

How the deal finder works

Set it once. Let it run.

You tell the engine which cards matter and what qualifies as a deal. It handles the checking, scoring, and alerting on every update — automatically.

01
Add your card

Search any card from the Dexcatch inDex catalog and watch it. You're watching that specific card — set, rarity, version — not a keyword.

02
State your intent

Buying, selling, or just tracking — pick one and Dexcatch arms the right trigger lines from the card's own prices: a Steal alert with a floor for buyers, guide-and-demand checks for sellers, a weekly digest for trackers.

03
The engine checks

On every daily update, the engine pulls fresh eBay data, applies the quality layer, scores every active listing against Dex Fair, and checks for qualifying offers on your cards.

04
You get the alert

When a qualifying listing fires, you're notified by SMS or email. The alert includes the list price, the gap vs Dex Fair, the verdict, and a direct eBay link so you can buy before it sells.

What free users see every day

The market in both directions.

Every day, Dexcatch surfaces the top 5 best deals and the top 5 most overpriced listings — free. The deals show you where to act. The overpriced list shows you what to avoid, and proves the engine calculates across the full price spectrum, not just the cheap end.

Watches

Watch the cards that matter to you.

The top 5 lists show you what the engine found today. Watches let you tell it exactly what you're hunting — and get alerted the moment it surfaces.

How Watches work

Add any card to your Watches and say what you're doing — buying, selling, or just tracking. Dexcatch arms the trigger lines for you. On the next update the engine queues your card, scores qualifying data against those lines, and moves the Watch from Waiting to Found when one is crossed.

The Found state includes the full read — list price, the gap vs Dex Fair, the verdict, and a direct eBay link. From there, you click through and buy before the listing sells.

If the listing sells before you act, the Watch returns to Waiting and resumes checking on the next update. You never lose the slot — you just wait for the next qualifying offer on that card.

Dexcatch maps every active listing back to your specific card — set, number, rarity tier — before it scores anything. A listing for “Pikachu ex” that doesn't match your exact version doesn't reach the engine. If no qualifying offer exists at the time of the update, your Watch stays in Waiting. That's not a failure — it means the market doesn't have a deal on that card right now.

10 finds per month — free
A find is an alert that actually fired, not a card you added. Watch as many cards as you like; a Buying or Selling watch spends a find only when it catches something. Tracking watches are always free.
Finds reset on the 1st
Unused finds do not roll over. Your watches keep scanning either way — a spent month just means the next Buying catch waits for the reset.
100 a month on Pro
Pro raises it to 100 finds a month — enough to cover a whole binder of targets across every series and set.

Questions

Before you set your first Watch

The things collectors ask before they start.

No. A slot is used when you add a Watch. Removing the card doesn’t return the slot for that month. Slots reset on the 1st of every month regardless of how many cards you’re actively watching.
Your Watch goes back to waiting and keeps checking on every update. You don’t lose the slot. The engine keeps looking for the next qualifying offer on that card until you remove it or the month resets.
The monthly reset keeps your watchlist focused on what you actually want right now — not an accumulated list of cards from months ago. Ten focused Watches are more useful than fifty stale ones.
Yes. Dex Fair recalculates as new sales land — daily — from fresh eBay sold data, TCGPlayer market price, and active listing supply. If the market shifts, Dex Fair adjusts and your rule recalculates against the new baseline automatically.
Yes. Every card on your watchlist has its own rule. A $900 card might warrant firing only on a Steal. A $60 card you’ve been hunting might be worth a price target instead — under $50, say. Rules are per card, not account-wide.
The top 5 shows you what the engine found across all cards today — you see them when you log in. A Watch is for a specific card you want. It checks on every update and alerts you the moment a qualifying offer appears, without you having to look. Steals on high-demand cards disappear in hours. Manual checking means you’re always too late. A Watch means you hear about it first.
