Program Description
Dexcatch offers an optional SMS text message program that sends you price-watch alerts for the Pokémon Trading Card Game cards you choose to track ("watches") inside the Dexcatch app. When a card on your watch list appears for sale at or below the price or valuation you set, we text you so you don't miss it. These are transactional account notifications tied to watches you create; we do not send marketing or promotional content through this program.
How to Opt In
You opt in from inside the Dexcatch web app at app.dexcatch.com. Sign in, go to Settings → Notifications, enter your U.S. or Canadian mobile number, check the box confirming you agree to these SMS Terms, and verify your number with the one-time code we send you. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. The program is available to U.S. and Canada mobile numbers only.
Opt-In Screen
Below is the opt-in screen exactly as it appears inside the Dexcatch app at Settings → Notifications, shown in its default state when the screen first opens. The SMS consent checkbox is a separate, standalone control dedicated only to SMS consent, and it is unchecked by default — it is never pre-selected. The user must deliberately tap the checkbox to give consent, and the "Send code" button remains disabled until they do. SMS consent is not bundled with any other agreement and is not a condition of creating an account or using Dexcatch.
Get a text when your watches fire. US and Canada numbers only — we'll send a 6-digit code to confirm it's yours.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and depends entirely on your own watch activity. You receive a message only when a card you are actively watching matches your criteria, so the number of messages differs from person to person and week to week.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges will apply to each message you send or receive. Dexcatch does not charge a separate fee for the SMS program. Check with your carrier for details about your plan.

How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. After you send STOP, we will send a single confirmation and will not send you any further SMS alerts unless you opt back in. You can also turn alerts off at any time by removing your phone number under Settings → Notifications in the app. To resume alerts after opting out, reply START or re-add your number in the app.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change, and we cannot guarantee that messages will be delivered by every carrier.
Your Privacy
We use your mobile number only to operate this alert program and to verify that the number belongs to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number, or your SMS opt-in consent, with any third party for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that help us deliver the messages (for example, our SMS provider), solely to send the alerts you requested. Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued participation in the program after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
